Guest Transfers

Bali Hai Cruises

Bali’s premier cruise company has carried more than 2.5 million guests since commencing service in 1990. Bali Hai Cruises provide a door-to-door transfer from your Bali hotel** to the resort and back. That includes:

• Air-conditioned transfer from your Bali hotel** to Benoa Harbour
• Cruise aboard the Bali Hai II to Nusa Lembongan with morning tea
• Enjoy a BBQ lunch on your day of arrival

This additional service is offered at a preferential rate during the online booking process.

How it works

Bali Hai Cruises will collect Hai Tide Beach Resort guests from their Bali hotel** using one of their fleet of air-conditioned vehicles and drive them to Bali Hai Cruises‘ reception centre at Benoa Harbour.

Guests can leave their luggage with the staff at the Benoa reception centre for transportation to Hai Tide Beach Resort.

Resort guests will be given priority boarding and seating on the luxurious catamaran Bali Hai II for the 14 nautical mile cruise to Lembongan (lasting around 60 minutes). Departure is at 9.15am. Morning tea is provided during the cruise.

On arrival in Mushroom Bay, resort staff will meet the guests and escort them to the resort reception. A BBQ lunch will be provided on the day of arrival.

Hai Tide Beach Resort guests can take advantage of the range of activities available at the Beach Club and on the 40 metre offshore Reef Pontoon equipped with a 35 metre water slide and underwater viewing chamber.

The return cruise on Bali Hai II arrives back in Benoa Harbour at 4.15pm. Guests are then transferred to their Bali hotel**.

** Bali transfers include all south Bali areas (including Ubud) but exclude Candidasa.

Your Safety is Paramount

Bali Hai Cruises is committed to passenger safety. In the past 25 years of operating it has maintained a proud 100% safety record. This exemplary track record doesn’t come easy, and while we are proud of it, we aren’t complacent. Unfortunately, this is not always the case for operators in Indonesia and incidents are sadly all too common. We hope that by raising the bar high that other members of the industry will follow suit so that the industry as a whole improves.

Bali Hai Cruises focuses on two areas of safety 1) Prevention and 2) Responsiveness. To help prevent incidents we ensure our vessels are kitted out with international brands of radar, sonar and steering systems, along with engines produced by none other than the marine subsidiary of Mercedes. We also make sure at least one marine grade engineer is on all of our vessels at all times. To ensure we are ready for just about any eventuality our team practices regular safety drills and all our life jackets, life boats and other safety equipment is maintained to the highest international standards with testing completed on a regular basis. The final piece to the safety picture is insurance. All guests traveling with Bali Hai Cruises immediately fall under our comprehensive passenger liability insurance.

It’s this combination of items that helps make Bali Hai Cruises the safest and most comfortable way to reach Lembongan. You will see for yourself when you travel with us.

Kindest regards,

Andrew Sutherland
